CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

  V.P., SENIOR STRATEGIST AND RAINMAKER

The owner and president of our company is looking for a doppelganger, a twin, a buttoned-up professional to serve as his proxy in pursuit of business opportunities and the management of existing accounts.

Right now you are perhaps thinking to yourself: "But a doppelganger is a ghostly double of a living person, especially one that haunts its fleshly counterpart." First of all, if this is what you were thinking, you receive extra points for being remarkably perspicacious, which is one of the personality traits we're looking for.

Secondly, a ghostly double is exactly what we need. We want someone with a supernatural ability to develop successful brand strategies, the patience and experience to translate those strategies into marketing campaigns and the connections to help secure and grow new accounts.

Perhaps you are a senior account executive or strategist at another advertising agency. Maybe you own or have owned your own agency. Or, perhaps you come from a different side of advertising but possess the necessary credentials, skills and traits to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Development of high-level brand strategies for a wide range of clients in consumer and industrial categories
  • Interaction with creative staff (writers and designers) to implement brand strategies in multiple media
  • Day-to-day management of accounts, requiring near-constant client contact
  • Communication of Coleman Partners personality and values to corporate executives and senior managers
  • Presentation of Coleman Partners capabilities to prospective clients (C - level to manager)

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience as an account manager or brand strategist
  • Experience in strategic planning of advertising accounts
  • Experience with media planning, including print, radio, TV and Web
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • A professional appearance and demeanor
  • Familiarity with up-to-the-minute advertising issues, trends and technologies
